The MLM Company told you that you get retail checks for selling their product and for everyone that you get to join your team, you get paid.
You’ve even been told that this can happen on so many levels and you'll be able to see cashflow fairly quickly as you build your downline. They give you your own website and some tips on how to approach people and what to say. They give you their idea of an MLM marketing system.
You’re so motivated and you begin calling all your family members and close friends trying to tell them that you have hit the jackpot and they can get in on the action! You attend the weekly hotel or teleconference meetings where they teach you how to improve your “MLM marketing system” and teach you what to say and how to say it. They get people to sign up before your very eyes and tell you that you can do the same thing too. Then their advice to you is to simply to spread the word about your new MLM business to any and everyone.

- Use a system that will help not only you, but the people in your downline as well. (You'll build more relationships and make more money that way)
- Use an mlm marketing system that automates a lot of the tedious tasks that take time away from you
All this and much much more can be achieved with a real MLM marketing system. With the right specialized knowledge and a commitment to doing what you have to do to get it done, you and your team will be closer and closer to true financial freedom.
Your upline shouldn’t be telling you to go after any and everyone. They should tell you to only deal with “targeted leads”. People that are already in to that sort of business. People that want more out of life than the daily 9-5/401K struggle. People that want to be their own boss and spend more time with their family and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

I’m not saying that what they teach doesn’t work, I’m just saying that if you’re not seeing the income you expected to see, then its time you develop a real MLM marketing system that pays you on auto-pilot instead of the other way around.
