I'd like to take this time to tell you a little bit about who I am, but before I get into that, you probably want to know what this website is all about, so let's cover that real quick.
What is this website all about?
I created this blog to focus on helping entrepreneurs grow their business by using automated systems and simple systematic marketing principles,even if they're just a beginner. What is this "systematic talk" really all about? It means being able to position your business to run on autopilot by leveraging today's technology and using key marketing principles and business models that have been proven to work time and time again by putting leads in your pipeline and cash in your pocket.The Main Goal Taking A Systematic Approach Is To Get More Done In Less TIME While Making A Realistic Income From Home
I don't care if you hate computers and aren't too good at using them, I can still help you by showing you the direction you need to be moving in...step by step!

Who is J. Lamar Ferren?
I’m a 26 Year old Real Estate Investor & Online Marketer from New Jersey. (Exit 2 :-D ) At the age of 18 I went into the military, traveled the world, was deployed to Iraq/Kuwait twice, and after 5 1/2 years I came to the conclusion that it was time to move onto bigger and better things. By that I mean, it was time for me to stop taking orders and be my own boss.
During my time in the military, I met my wife Mary and we have been married for almost 7 years. We have 3 children, ages 7yrs, 4yrs, and 1yr. (1 Boy and 2 girls).
How I was introduced to Entrepreneurship and My Journey to becoming an Online Marketer
The thing that made me really want to be my own boss was when a fellow soldier/friend of mine approached me about getting into a small business. At first I laughed it off, but when I realized he wasn’t kidding, I began to listen closely to what he had to say. Actually this was the first time I heard the phrase, “Be Your Own Boss”. That is when he really grabbed my attention.
At first he mentioned to me the idea of buying computers at wholesale prices that were consider "overstock" for stores that just wanted to get rid of them. Basically we'd fix them up and sell them at retail to whomever wanted it.
So one day we went to the store to kind of "strategize" and just hang out. As we were talking someone just randomly approached us while we were hanging out and pretty much gave us the spill on their business. Ever heard of Quixtar? I’m sure you have. lol If you haven’t, then I’ll give you the short story. Basically you buy quality products online that you could normally get offline. The thing was by getting these products online you could now spend time doing other things besides having to get dressed, get the kids ready, head out to the car, drive 10-20 miles to the mall or to the department store, run into the store and get whatever it is you wanted it, then have to carry the products back to your car, and finally back to your home.
Meanwhile, who knows how long that took you, not to mention the amount of gas you used… This is how the business was explained to me and it made so much sense at the time. It was a no-brainer. People can just have these products delivered to their front door. Then to make things even better, they had a residual income opportunity in place. Basically I could make extra cash by telling other people about my business and getting them to join my team. Then I would get a check every month and would help them do the same!
It all sounded great, until….
The Nightmare I experienced with this New Business and Network Marketing
We signed up… They told us to tell as many people as we could about this business. Family…Friends… Everyone! We did in home presentations, we did mall presentations, we did parking lot presentations. We even dressed up in suits and went door to door on our military base. That was pretty funny.
Anyway, to make a long story short, we didn’t get anyone to join our business… NOT 1 PERSON! It was very frustrating and we were losing so much money. We had to buy products to meet the monthly volume and we had to pay for all our traveling and marketing expenses. It was a nightmare…
Not only that, but I think my family was getting annoyed when all I tried to do was pitch them on how I found the best thing since sliced bread.
What I learned from that Nightmare
However, one thing I learned from all of that, which would have made my experience much better… You must always TARGET your customers. You want to go after people who already have an interest in what you’re doing. We were told to go after any and everybody. Sounds great in theory, but try putting it in to practice and you’ll be wasting just as much time as we did.
Anyway, we dropped that business and my friend and I parted are ways. Apparently if you’re in the military, whenever Uncle Sam says it’s time to pack up and move, you have to do it!
After that, I jumped into the real estate investing industry. Real estate went pretty good, but in the beginning I suffered from Paraylsis of Analysis or what some would call, "Information Overload" for 2 years and didn't do one deal.
Information overload can happen to anyone in any business. It happens a lot in Network Marketing too! It usually happens in the beginning as a person is trying to learn something new while adapting to the ever growing network marketing industry. Why I took another stab at Network Marketing
I actually got back into Network Marketing because I discovered everything I was doing wrong and what I really needed to be doing in order to succeed. After connecting with Top Figure Earners and industry leaders like Mike Dillard, Steve Schuitt, Brian Fanale, Norbert Orlewicz, Lawrence Tam and many others, I was finally able to get the right people in my business, finally able to produce really good income, and finally able to teach others how to do the same with confidence.
Fast forward to today and now I'm actually an Online Marketing Coach for Network Marketers and other entrepreneurs wanting to work from home. This is what I do aside from Real Estate Investing. I’m doing everything I can to stay outside of my comfort zone (failure zone) and do Whatever It Takes to live life on my terms, spend as much time as I can with my family, and travel all around the world. My goal is to help as many people as I can do the same!
